The Systems Integration & Test Engineering organization within LM Space is searching for a motivated and passionate Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team. You will be focused on various testing and integration efforts within all of the teams and efforts the organiation supports and the design and coordination of testing between (and within) the various teams/applications to ensure that the functionality is feature complete and all program/IRAD requirements, use cases, and scnearios are verified.

Desired is someone with a strong technical aptitude to be a wonderful addition to the SEIT team helping to develop creative and novel technical solutions.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement testing of use cases, scenarios, and requirements
• Perform and/or ensure the ongoing verification of the created tests
• Clearly communicating ideas and collaborate across multiple teams
• Support both classified on-site and unclassified testing events

Occasional travel may be required to customer and LM sites across the country.

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
• Experience with the Space domain (satellite ground systems and orbital platforms)
• Experience developing and communicating test procedures
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills

• Experience with building test architectures
• Experience with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Travis, etc.)
• Self-driven - ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work and communicate with teams spread across the country
• Experience with writing use cases, scnearios, and software requirements for complex systems and defining measurements of success for them
• Experience with 1LMX Test and Development tools, software, and processes (e.g. Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, Docker container deployments, Kubernetes)
• Experience with AI driven 1LMX tools for test and development

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
