PGS Worldwide is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Orlando, Florida for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support the integration, development, testing, and maintenance of complex automated test systems used with electro-optical sensor hardware for military applications.
4+ years of software development experience using C, C++, and/or LabVIEW.
4+ years of experience supporting production environments.
6+ years of test equipment design experience.
6+ years of electronic testing experience.
6+ years of mechanical testing experience.
Experience integrating and testing hardware and software components, subsystems, and complete systems.
Experience developing and executing comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
Experience troubleshooting hardware/software interfaces.
Ability to analyze test results and prepare detailed system or subsystem evaluation reports.
Experience performing regression testing to verify and validate incorporated fixes.
Experience with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and National Instruments (NI) systems.
Strong C or C++ software-development skills.
Experience integrating Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware.
Experience with VXI/PXI chassis, switching hardware, EO testing, and automation.
Automated test-equipment development or maintenance experience in a high-volume production environment.
Experience supporting electro-optical sensor systems or military hardware.
Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain system integration and test solutions.
Translate customer and contractual requirements into practical system-test solutions.
Establish functional and technical specifications, standards, and interface requirements.
Troubleshoot hardware/software interface issues.
Develop and execute comprehensive system and subsystem test plans and procedures.
Coordinate integration and testing activities across engineering and program teams.
Analyze test results and prepare verification and validation reports.
Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing.
Support development and maintenance of automated production test equipment.
