• Pay Rate: $71.59 / Hourly (Non-Exempt, OT eligible)

Job Description Summary

This effort is a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment involving the integration of an EO/IR COTS camera into an over-the-shoulder missile launch product. The Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) effort entails integration, calibration, alignment, and/or characterization of the sensor.

The successful candidate will work primarily within an onsite development lab space in Orlando, Florida, utilizing laboratory equipment to integrate communications and imagery from the camera with a custom electronics suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and verify hardware, electrical, and software interfaces between tactical/flight hardware subsystems and test sets.

• Utilize lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and network analyzers.

• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and COTS Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

• Troubleshoot and assess overall system functionality in a hands-on lab environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience Level: Level 3 (BS + 6–8 years of experience, or MS + 4–6 years of experience).

• 6+ Years: Subsystem integration using laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, network analyzers).

• 6+ Years: Hands-on testing experience.

• 6+ Years: Systems engineering background.

• 6+ Years: Hardware troubleshooting proficiency.

• 3+ Years: Working familiarity with standard tactical communication and telemetry protocols (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, RS-422/485, PCIe, Camera Link, or ARINC).

• 3+ Years: Familiarity with EO/IR technology.

• Active Secret Clearance: Mandatory requirement to start.
