PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Andover, Massachusetts for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will develop, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain complex test solutions involving in-house developed and COTS/GOTS hardware and software, with significant emphasis on LabVIEW, TestStand, system integration, and automated test.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required prior to starting.
  • 5+ years of experience writing, editing, and supporting software using LabVIEW.
  • 3+ years of experience writing, editing, and supporting software using TestStand.
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office to develop technical documentation, status reports, project plans, and work instructions.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and resolving technical problems.
  • Experience integrating and testing hardware/software systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Experience developing and executing system or subsystem test plans and procedures.
  • Ability to derive test requirements from system, design, or contractual requirements.
  • Experience analyzing test results and documenting system performance.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware/software integration and interface issues.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Experience leading teams toward technical or program milestones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal detailed direction.

Preferred Skills

  • 9+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Experience with RF or microwave systems and subsystems.
  • 5+ years of RF or microwave subject-matter expertise.
  • Experience developing complex automated test programs using TestStand.
  • Experience measuring electrical parameters for electronic components and subassemblies.
  • Experience researching and selecting components for test-equipment designs.
  • Experience troubleshooting test systems to the instrument, fixture, software, or unit-under-test level.
  • Experience developing assembly drawings, block diagrams, parts lists, and other engineering documentation.
  • Experience with corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Strong experience deriving test requirements from design and system-level requirements.
  • Experience identifying and correcting discrepancies between engineering drawings and actual hardware.
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical charts, trade studies, issues, and proposed solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain system integration and test solutions.
  • Integrate internally developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Translate contractual and technical requirements into executable test solutions.
  • Establish functional and technical specifications for test systems.
  • Resolve hardware and software interface issues.
  • Define system input/output parameters and verify proper subsystem and system integration.
  • Review and derive requirements for testability.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Coordinate integration and test activities with engineering programs and supporting organizations.
  • Analyze test results and prepare system-level verification and validation reports.
  • Write discrepancy reports documenting identified test or integration issues.
  • Perform regression testing to verify incorporated hardware and software fixes.
  • Troubleshoot test-equipment, instrumentation, fixture, software, and unit-under-test issues.
  • Support technical reviews, milestone activities, and cross-functional engineering efforts.

Work Schedule / Shift

  • Full-time onsite role.
  • The position will initially work from the Chelmsford, Massachusetts facility before transitioning to the Andover facility in January 2027.

Pay

  • $85.96 per hour.
  • Overtime eligible.
