Basic Qualifications :

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position:

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a systems engineer for the Coastal family, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the execution of a predetermined and highly complex schedule with some of the best engineering minds around.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience designing and developing test plans, procedures, and equipment for embedded systems.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new information.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot issues down to the component level.
  • Familiarity with IT fundamentals like networking, system administration, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Commitment to professional development and identifying opportunities for innovation (e.g., AI-driven improvements).

What You'll Experience:

  • Build and maintain a cutting-edge database of undersea systems information.
  • Collaborate with engineering, GIS, and operational teams to collect and document data.
  • Develop tools and processes to streamline data workflows.
  • Participate in occasional at-sea deployments to gather firsthand system insights.
  • Troubleshoot and improve database functionality as needs evolve.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience managing and working with databases (e.g., SQL).
  • Eagerness to learn and understand the technical details of the systems you document.
  • Willingness to travel, including extended international and at-sea deployments.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
