Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Kronos Workforce Management Functional Consultant with 8+ years of experience to support a global AMS engagement. The consultant will play a key role in transitioning the application from the incumbent support team to NTT DATA, stabilizing operations, and driving the service through steady state into continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in /Kronos Workforce Management, production support experience, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to resolve issues, optimize business processes, and deliver enhancements while ensuring SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Transition & Knowledge Transfer
- Participate in transition planning and knowledge transfer from the incumbent support provider.
- Review existing business processes, configurations, integrations, and support documentation.
- Validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Knowledge Base (KB) articles, and support runbooks.
- Identify transition risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support service readiness activities before steady-state operations.
- AMS Production Support
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support for Kronos/ Workforce Management.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- Analyze recurring incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with preventive action plans.
- Support payroll processing, timecard validation, scheduling issues, accruals, and workforce policy configurations.
- Coordinate with technical teams, HR, Payroll, and business users to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management activities.

- Gather and analyze enhancement requests from business stakeholders.
- Recommend /Kronos best practices to improve workforce management processes.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Drive automation and process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve service quality.
- Governance & Service Delivery
- Participate in daily operational meetings, weekly service reviews, monthly governance meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Provide updates on incidents, problems, risks, enhancement requests, and service improvements.
- Ensure SLA, KPI, and customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved.
- Maintain documentation, knowledge repositories, and support procedures.
Required Skills- 8+ years of experience supporting /Kronos Workforce Management solutions.
- Strong expertise in Time & Attendance and Scheduling modules.
- Experience supporting payroll integrations and workforce compliance.
- Strong incident management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in ITIL-based AMS support environments.
- Knowledge of SLA and KPI-driven service delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Kronos Certification preferred.
- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
- Experience supporting global workforce management environments.
- Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar ticketing tools.
- Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to support business-critical activities, including payroll processing, financial close cycles, production deployments, system upgrades, and critical production incidents outside regular business hours, as required.
- Experience working in Application Management Services (AMS) engagements covering Transition, Stabilization, Steady State Operations, and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Request, and Release Management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive service improvements, operational excellence, automation initiatives, SLA compliance, and customer satisfaction in an enterprise support environment.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is
$55 to $62. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
