Responsibilities:

• Building, maintaining, and providing guidance for integration with hosting environments for NCIS Mission Applications.  
• Serve as a Systems Engineering SME supporting secure enterprise environments across Linux and Windows platforms, including on-premises, commercial cloud, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and similar DevSecOps technologies.
• Manage and support containerized environments and orchestration platforms, including Fargate, Azure Containers, SUSE Rancher Prime/RKE2, or equivalent technologies.
• Configure and operate service mesh and service discovery solutions, such as HashiCorp Consul, Apache ZooKeeper, AWS Cloud Map, or comparable platforms.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar automation tools.
• Provide technical guidance to Mission Application developers on solution architecture, deployment strategies, security controls, and compliance requirements across secure and FedRAMP environments.
• Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security, automation, testing, and compliance throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, networking, and systems issues while ensuring availability, security, scalability, and operational performance.
• Support the implementation of security and compliance requirements within classified/secure environments while maintaining alignment with applicable policies, regulations, and technical standards.

Minimum Requirement:

• Active Top Security Clearance 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). 
• 5+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows enterprise server environments.
• Sec+ (or IAT Level II certification equivalent)
• Linux and Windows systems administration
• CI/CD Pipeline creation/deployment/maintenance (Ansible/Jenkins/etc)
  
• Container Orchestration configuration, management, and operation (Fargate, Azure Containers, SUSE Rancher Prime RKE2, or similar)
  
• Service Mesh and Discovery configuration and operation (HashiCorp Consul, Apache Zookeeper, AWS Cloud Map, or similar)
  
• Infrastructure-as-Code utilities (such as Terraform/OpenTofu or similar)
  
• DevSecOps familiarity and/or accreditation.
  
• Must be comfortable managing deployments in on-premises, commercial, and hybrid clouds (including FEDRAMP and other secure cloud environments) and providing guidance to Mission Application developers on structuring solution architecture for compliance with policies, regulations, and implementation specifics.
