Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering & Delivery Planning Engineer with expertise in thermal energy systems, thermal energy storage, and concentrated solar power (CSP). The ideal candidate will have experience in thermal and mechanical system integration, system architecture, engineering requirements, and prototype/product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review existing product requirements, technical documentation, and project baselines.

• Support the definition and clarification of product and system requirements.

• Define and document system boundaries, interfaces, assumptions, dependencies, and ownership.

• Develop and maintain acceptance criteria for agreed deliverables.

• Support execution planning, resource planning, and integrated schedule development.

• Identify technical and delivery risks, dependencies, and open items, and support mitigation planning.

• Support configuration management and change-control processes.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders for requirement clarification and technical alignment.

• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and project status reports.

• Support technical reviews and ensure closure of comments and action items.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.

• Experience with Thermal Energy Systems / Thermal Energy Storage Systems (TESS).

• Knowledge of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP).

• Experience in thermal and mechanical system integration.

• Understanding of heat-transfer fundamentals and basic CFD/thermal analysis.

• Knowledge of controls and system architecture.

• Ability to interpret P&IDs and define system interfaces.

• Awareness of electrical systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integration.

• Knowledge of safety, reliability, and hazard-analysis methods.

• Experience with prototype/product development lifecycle, from requirements definition through design reviews.

• Ability to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Experience in engineering documentation, project planning, and technical reviews.
