In this challenging assignment, you will manage a high energy Agile software development team. This role is a mix of technical and leadership duties. An understanding of engineering processes will be required to lead team execution.
The successful candidate will be part of a team building system engineering artifacts and developing software products for a critical mission in the Space domain.
Specific tasks for Systems Engineer Associate Manager include:
Agile leader duties will include at least one of the following based on need and experienced skillset: product ownership/management, cost account management, release management, escalation and removal team impediments, management of risk and the drive for continuous improvement.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
