Senior Systems EngineerLocation: Washington, DCWhat This Job Feels Like

Balance among architecture, operations, and hands-on engineering depending on projectdemands.
Non-repetitive, impactful efforts providing daily challenges with no long-term boredom.
Ownership of systems and projects from planning through lifecycle execution.
Generally high OPTEMPO; individuals must self-manage workload based oncommunicated priorities.What You’ll Do
Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows infrastructure (ActiveDirectory, Group Policy, PKI, etc.).
Manage identity and access systems, certificate authorities, and PKI infrastructure.
Depending on specializations: Linux systems, containerized workloads (Kubernetes,Docker), etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, security, and operationalimprovements.
Lead root cause analysis for system outages or performance issues.
Mentor less-senior engineers and technicians.Tech Knowledge / Skills
Deep expertise in Microsoft Core On-prem technologies (Windows Server, AD, Exchange,PKI, Group Policy).
Experience with Linux server management, scripting/automation.
Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) in hybrid environments.
Security, networking, monitoring, and backup/DR integration relevant to enterpriseinfrastructure.Requirements
8+ years systems engineering experience in secure/cleared environments.
Active TS; must be able to obtain TS/SCI
Professional certification required; Expert-level preferred.
Demonstrated experience with progressive responsibilities indicative of a senior engineer.
DoD 8140 compliance requiredThe likely salary range for this position is $180,000-$255,000. This is not, however, aguarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, andcontractual agreements and could fall outside of this range.EOE

Compensation: $180,000.00 - $255,000.00 per year
