We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support enterprise IT systems within a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with VMware, Veeam, Windows Server, and system migrations.
Design, implement, and support VMware environments and enterprise systems.
Perform VM migrations from Hyper-V to VMware.
Configure and manage VMware High Availability (HA) and Fault Tolerance (FT).
Support Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy environments.
Perform system hardening and troubleshooting in accordance with security best practices.
Develop technical documentation, SOPs, test plans, and reports.
Work with engineering, cybersecurity, system administration, and vendor teams.
6–8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; flexibility for strong candidates.
Security+ CE or other DoD IAT Level II certification.
Extensive VMware deployment and administration experience.
Hands-on experience with VMware HA, FT, shared storage, and building VMware solutions from scratch.
Experience migrating VMs from Hyper-V to VMware.
Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Experience with Linux environments such as Red Hat or CentOS.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
