Systems Engineer - W2 candidates only

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support enterprise IT systems within a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with VMware, Veeam, Windows Server, and system migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support VMware environments and enterprise systems.

• Perform VM migrations from Hyper-V to VMware.

• Configure and manage VMware High Availability (HA) and Fault Tolerance (FT).

• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy environments.

• Perform system hardening and troubleshooting in accordance with security best practices.

• Develop technical documentation, SOPs, test plans, and reports.

• Work with engineering, cybersecurity, system administration, and vendor teams.

• Required Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; flexibility for strong candidates.

• Security+ CE or other DoD IAT Level II certification.

• Extensive VMware deployment and administration experience.

• Hands-on experience with VMware HA, FT, shared storage, and building VMware solutions from scratch.

• Experience migrating VMs from Hyper-V to VMware.

• Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

• Experience with Linux environments such as Red Hat or CentOS.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
