Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tucson, AZ. You will support the design, integration, and production of advanced propulsion control systems for critical aircraft applications.

Rate Range: $48/Hour to $51/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Systems Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Investigate and resolve production support issues related to aerospace control systems, Electronic Control Units (ECUs), and propulsion control products.

• Develop, evaluate, and implement engineering design changes to support manufacturing, product improvements, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to troubleshoot technical challenges and drive issue resolution.

• Support systems integration activities by ensuring components and designs meet customer requirements, engineering standards, and regulatory guidelines.

• Maintain configuration management documentation, engineering drawings, and product revisions throughout the product lifecycle.

• Coordinate technical communications, program milestones, testing activities, and supplier deliverables to ensure successful project execution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or production support within a regulated engineering environment.

• Strong knowledge of aerospace control systems, electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, actuators, and systems integration principles.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues, implement design changes, and support product lifecycle activities.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $51.00 per hour
