What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineering Sr Stf you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing processes and procedures across multiple engineering teams to ensure product quality, performance, and compliance with standards on the F-35 SI&T Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee test Execution to ensure LOB priorities and capabilities are being integrated and tested.
• Coordinate with product teams, development teams, and software quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with test objectives.
• Coordinate with Solution Owners/Mission Systems Capability Leads in developing Test Description Documents (TDD) for new capabilities that require flight test
• Ensure Flight Test metrics such as the Functional Maturity Metric (FMM) for new capabilities are up to date and allow senior leadership to understand where capability integration is against the Function Integration Plan (FIP).
• Attend weekly Classified and Unclassified System Defect boards
• Coordinate with the EDW and PAX flight test community in identifying anomalies that need flight test data collected for adjudicating System Defects that have been written
• Coordinate with the System Integration and Test team, Software defects (SDs) that need to be adjudicated in the MSIL (Mission System Integration Labs).
• Support Root Cause Corrective Action efforts from lab, DT, OT and fleet issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality

Job Description

You will be a Level 5 Systems Engineer Sr Stf for F-35 Test Operations and Planning. Our team is responsible for System Integration and Testing for the F-35. This includes creating detailed test plans that include the scope of testing, different testing environments, lab infrastructure, schedules, and resource allocation. That stems from collaboration with software teams, architecture teams, design teams, system test teams, and flight test teams all working together to ensure F-35 modernization, sustainment, and development.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (engineering highly desired).
• Flight Test Experience
• Experience with Integration and Test
• Experience in developing and executing technical plans
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Must be US citizen with ability to obtain Program Access Clearances

Desired Skills

• Weapons Subject Matter Expert
• Systems Engineering development and integration experience
• Experience with requirement development that includes the scope of testing and the different testing environments
• Experienced working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams, such as System Design, Software, SWIT, or Integrated System Evaluation
• Experience with python coding, database interaction, excel automation
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• F-35 Program Clearances

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
