    RESPONSIBILITIES


      • Architect and build out large (1+ petabyte) storage clusters

      • Automate performance metrics, running CPU-intensive jobs in the cloud, and bringing up new machines

      • Help build and maintain automated test suites

      • Maintain on-site infrastructure (storage, network, and servers) and AWS resources

      • Architect and implement various cloud-based software stacks (web apps, data stores, batch processing, etc)




    REQUIREMENTS


      • BS in CS, math, physics, or similar field

      • 4+ years of experience as a sysadmin, software engineer, or systems engineer

      • Excellent knowledge of Linux, networking, system administration, and AWS

      • Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining large storage clusters

      • Passionate about self-driving technology and its potential impact on the world

      • Not afraid to write documentation or occasionally jump in and help with basic IT tasks (we all do!)




    BONUS POINTS


      • Familiarity with Ubuntu Linux

      • Experience building web apps

      • Worked at a robotics company or used ROS

      • Experience with quality assurance, automated testing, or security

      • Experience building out teams or being an operations manager
