    Relay Product & Tech (RPT) builds the products and technologies that drive Amazon"s middle mile

    network. Our tools are used by Amazon ops and tech teams and external carriers and drivers to enable

    As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will develop and maintain automation solutions that protect

    Customers, Carriers, Drivers, and Amazon globally. This is a unique opportunity to work at the

    Key job responsibilities

    Lead the end-to-end development of automation workflows, including design, development,

    testing, launch, and continuous improvement

    • Possess strong expertise in Generative AI and Agentic systems and concepts, with the ability to

    integrate these technologies into daily workflows

    • Leverage AI knowledge to enhance workflow designs and improve investigator productivity through

    AI-driven solutions

    • Develop deep expertise as a subject matter expert in specific focus areas, serving as the technical

    point of contact for your team

    • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical systems across distributed environments, identifying

    root causes and driving resolution

    • Build and maintain automation that simplifies workloads at scale, reducing manual effort and

    improving accuracy

    • Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks for automation workflows
    • Partner with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to identify automation opportunities and

    translate business requirements into technical solutions

    • Monitor system health, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure reliability and

    performance of automation systems
