Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Performs analyses across concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Ensures logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Works as a Systems Engineer in the Test Solutions Business area and within the Automated Test Equipment branch on test stations.
Develops requirements from customer proposals and engineering changes.
Performs requirements analysis and traceability using DOORS or DOORS Next for requirements management.
Participates in developing systems architectures and authors performance specifications and interface control documents.
Works with COTS-based ATE instruments such as Digital MultiMeters, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, and Loads.
Performs obsolescence trade studies, authors Integration and Test documentation, conducts troubleshooting and test execution, and reads and interprets hardware design drawings and parts lists.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering related field.
At least 5 years of working experience.
Experience as a Systems Engineer in a Test Solutions or Automated Test Equipment environment.
Experience developing requirements from customer proposals and engineering changes.
Experience performing requirements analysis and traceability using DOORS or DOORS Next.
Experience participating in systems architecture development and authoring performance specifications and interface control documents.
Experience with COTS-based ATE instruments such as Digital MultiMeters, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, and Loads.
Thorough understanding of US Government calibration standards and experience performing obsolescence trade studies.
