Description

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required.

Support an IRAD team developing integrated training capabilities for CH-53K and MH-60R/CG use cases. The team’s work includes pilot maneuvers, normal and emergency procedures, aircraft-system behavior and malfunctions, mission scenarios, recording, replay, after-action review, and simulator hardware/software interfaces.
You will help define, decompose, trace and verify requirements and interfaces across simulation software, hardware, training workflows and supporting infrastructure. Working with software developers, integration/test engineers, pilots, instructors and other subject-matter experts, you will connect training needs to system architecture, behavior and verification planning. This opening emphasizes Cameo/SysML MBSE, aircraft-system and malfunction behavior, and Python/AI-assisted engineering.
Bring experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and developing or interpreting SysML models covering requirements, use cases, structure, behavior, interfaces and traceability. Experience with requirements decomposition, interface definition, architecture development and verification planning is required, together with working C++ knowledge sufficient to collaborate with software teams and understand implementation constraints.
Your background should include support for integration, test, verification, validation, troubleshooting or technical baseline management. You should be able to analyze system interactions and clearly communicate requirements, assumptions, interfaces and technical risks. A bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.
Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler or Cameo Enterprise Architect is desired. Additional strengths may include simulation architecture, digital engineering, real-time training systems, C++/Python/Bash, and aircraft systems, avionics, flight dynamics, mission systems or malfunction modeling. Aviation, rotorcraft, pilot-training or simulator knowledge can help you connect technical behavior to training needs.
We also welcome Client/HLA familiarity; TCP/UDP and hardware I/O experience; cockpit, display, audio, motion or control-loading interfaces; and work with data logging, recording/replay, after-action review, instructor workflows or training scenarios. Aircraft survivability equipment and threat modeling, automated testing, requirements-to-test traceability, FAA/EASA standards, Qualification Test Guides and simulator qualification are valuable areas of experience. Responsible use of AI-assisted research, analysis or development tools, with independent validation of results, is also desired.
