This position is a customer-facing technical role that combines systems engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing support. The successful candidate will serve as a primary technical resource for customers, troubleshooting software, hardware, and system performance issues while collaborating with engineering, product development, and software teams to deliver reliable, high-performance manufacturing solutions. The role also includes supporting system installations, acceptance testing, production file preparation, and customer deployments, with approximately 20% travel required.
Qualified candidates should have at least three years of experience in technical support, systems engineering, applications engineering, or a similar customer-facing engineering role. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across both software and hardware environments are essential, along with the ability to learn proprietary systems and CAD-based design tools. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Top candidates will bring experience with robotics, automation, welding technologies, or advanced manufacturing systems, along with a hands-on approach to integrating and supporting complex equipment.
