Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with operating systems, server administration, networking, system monitoring, automation, and incident management to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise systems and IT infrastructure.
• Administer Windows and/or Linux servers, including system configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Implement security policies, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, application, and DevOps teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or related platforms.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
• Participate in infrastructure deployments, migrations, upgrades, and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, or IT infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
• Experience with server hardware, virtualization, storage, and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and system security.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and backup solutions.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or configuration management platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, AWS, or Azure certifications.
