    Job Summary: We are seeking a System Engineer to oversee the phased roll-out of Microsoft Defender Application Control (WDAC) across approximately 1700 end-user machines, including laptops and desktops. This individual will serve as the primary point-of-contact for troubleshooting, reporting, and resolving issues during the deployment process. The role involves coordinating with end-users, providing technical support, and ensuring minimal disruption to users throughout the deployment.
    • Job Duration: 12+ Months
    • Work Location: The position offers a flexible work schedule, with a combination of remote work and onsite work at client Headquarters in Folsom, NJ. Specific work schedules will be determined based on project requirements.
    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate the phased deployment of Microsoft Defender Application Control (WDAC) across 1700+ end-user machines.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting issues, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems during the roll-out.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Defender Application Control in real-time to minimize user impact.
    • Work with end-users to identify and address any compatibility or operational issues.
    • Utilize Microsoft tools such as Event Viewer and PowerShell for diagnostics, monitoring, and reporting.
    • Apply application packaging concepts to ensure smooth deployment of WDAC.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address issues that arise during the roll-out process.
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users throughout the deployment process.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in troubleshooting issues with Microsoft Defender Application Control.
    • Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Event Viewer, PowerShell, and related diagnostic utilities.
    • Knowledge of application packaging concepts and deployment best practices.
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks while ensuring minimal impact on users.
