OverviewNakupuna Companies is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support the design and creation of technical solutions from functional specifications for complex development projects, analyze the impact of vendor provided updates and upgrades to the system, and program solutions of the WebMRE family of Health IT systems in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at NIWC Atlantic and other DoD Clients.ResponsibilitiesDevOps experience with knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and version controlWork with customers to understand their business processes and requirementsTranslate requirements into technical solutionsResolve issues that arise during developmentCommunicate project and development status to key stakeholders throughout the entire development processUse best practices to test and deploy changes from development to test, staging and production environmentsConduct product development activities in support of application enhancements and system problemsConduct technical design walkthroughsPerform peer reviews on other developer codeResponsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.QualificationsDesired Skills5+ years of experience with Scrum10+ years of Development/Architect in relevant fieldExperience with Project Management Software (MS Project, JIRA)Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a rapid, changing environment.Education and ExperienceThis position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or Engineering in a related field/advanced degree, and a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience preferably using health IT tools and products.ClearanceThis position requires a Public Trust clearance.Physical RequirementsAbility to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
