    Job Title: Systems Engineer

    Location: Hudson Oaks, TX

    Employment type: Full Time

    Job Duties:

    • Administer and optimize Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.

    • Manage and maintain Proxmox VE clusters, including virtualization, high availability, and storage/network configurations.

    • Automate IT workflows and processes using Ansible, n8n, and similar automation frameworks.

    • Implement scalable, secure solutions aligned with compliance initiatives (NIST, SOC 2, ISO, CJIS requirements, etc.).

    • Support IT efficiency by identifying redundant systems and streamlining SaaS usage.

    • Collaborate with cybersecurity, sysadmin, and helpdesk teams to reduce manual workloads and increase automation.

    • Participate in infrastructure planning for future growth and scaling.

    Requirements:

    • 3–5 years of IT administration or systems engineering experience (not an entry-level role).

    • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Entra, Azure, and M365 administration.

    • Strong working knowledge of Proxmox VE clustering (VM management, HA, backups, networking).

    • Hands-on automation experience with Ansible, n8n, or comparable platforms.

    • Familiarity with compliance-driven environments (NIST, SOC 2, ISO, CJIS, etc.) is a plus.

    • Comfortable working in a scaling MSP environment with rapid change.

    • Self-starter who can own projects end-to-end and document processes clearly.

    Work Environment/Hazards:

    • Working conditions primarily inside an office environment

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

    • High level of interaction with external/internal clients

    Physical Demands:

    • Able to frequentlymove, transport, positions objects of50 poundsor more

    • Stationary positionfor 8-10 hours a day

    • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

    • Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.

    • To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily movements include sitting,standing,operating computers and other office equipmentandmoving about the office.The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone

    Working Hours/Days: 

    • Full-time

    • 100% in office and onsite

    Travel Requirements:

    • Able to travel 0-10% of the time
