Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with expertise in system requirements, system architecture, subsystem integration, and design verification for complex equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor capital equipment and cross-functional exposure to mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Translate customer requirements into detailed subsystem requirements and ensure alignment with overall system objectives.
- System Architecture and Specifications: Define system specifications and develop system architecture to meet customer and product requirements.
- Interface Definition: Establish and document system interfaces, including hardware-software compatibility, subsystem interactions, and overall system performance.
- System Integration and Machine Bring-Up: Support system integration, machine bring-up, and troubleshooting of complex equipment in collaboration with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineering teams.
- Design Verification and Validation: Plan and execute design verification and validation activities to ensure systems meet defined requirements and performance specifications.
- Reliability Engineering: Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and reliability testing to evaluate system performance, identify failure modes, and improve product reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant teams to support product development, integration, and issue resolution.
- Product Support: Provide technical support for products and collaborate with internal stakeholders and end customers to resolve system-level issues.
Required Skills
- Experience in Systems Engineering, requirements development, and system specifications.
- Experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, subsystem requirements, and interface definition.
- Experience with system integration, machine bring-up, and troubleshooting complex equipment.
- Cross-domain technical knowledge spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software systems.
- Experience in design verification, validation, and reliability testing.
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and reliability engineering methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
