This role will support technical analysis, systems engineering activities, test planning and evaluating test data.

PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force (USSF). As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to coordinate test activities with cross-functional engineering teams, cross-government organizations, and technical GPS stakeholders.

Major duties of this position include:

  • Plan, develop, execute, and document test procedures to verify PNT system requirements and performance
  • Support integrated test events to evaluate PNT performance for the USSF, assessing signal acquisition and navigation performance in electronic threat environments
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies, troubleshoot configuration issues, and support root-cause investigations
  • Develop and maintain test plans for GPS simulator testing
  • Develop and execute simulation-based test scenarios using tools such as STK, Broadsim, and MATLAB
  • Interface with government customers, program leadership, analysts, engineers and technical stakeholders in classified and unclassified environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, or related technical field and 2+ years of relevant systems/test engineering experience (or Master's with 0-3 years).
  • Experience planning, executing, and documenting system-level tests and analyzing test data to verify requirements, identify anomalies, and support root-cause investigations.
  • Hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools such as STK, GPS simulators (e.g., Broadsim or equivalent), and/or MATLAB for scenario development and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interface with government customers and technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD space programs, preferably U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, or GPS/PNT-related missions.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for automating test workflows and advanced data analysis; experience with STK and advanced GPS simulators such as Broadsim.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering best practices (e.g., requirements traceability, verification/validation, configuration management) and use of requirements/test management tools.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
