The Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join a team of Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) members to contribute to various projects at various stages throughout the system lifecycle.
The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering to further develop a pathfinder Model-Based Verification approach. The successful candidate will employ MBSE approaches to develop Systems Engineering products using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize a total system solution. Additionally, the candidate may support various CMC projects that are in manufacture and test phases to integrate across key stakeholders.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
