Job Title: Systems Engineer - CXP Production Support & Automation
Location: Irving, TX - Hybrid Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday onsite

Role Overview
Seeking a senior Systems Engineer with 10+ years of experience supporting customer-facing order management, monitoring, and provisioning ecosystems in a large-scale B2B delivery environment. The role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end order flow integrity, proactive system monitoring, workflow automation, issue triaging, and operational performance optimization across CXP-based platforms.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise order lifecycle management, Oracle-backed workflow systems, production monitoring, automation, and operational support within high-volume customer delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Order Lifecycle & Workflow Management
- Support end-to-end B2B order lifecycle processes from order capture through provisioning, activation, shipment, and service enablement.
- Monitor enterprise order workflows across Customer Experience Platform (CXP) environments and related backend systems.
- Validate and track customer orders, pricing, contract terms, inventory availability, provisioning status, and activation workflows.
- Ensure continuity of digital and local order journeys within defined SLAs.
Monitoring & Operational Support
- Manage and monitor installed CXP systems supporting customer delivery and order management operations.
- Proactively identify workflow failures, stalled orders, provisioning issues, and operational bottlenecks.
- Configure automated alerts and monitoring for critical order lifecycle milestones.
- Track application health, workflow performance, and operational metrics using monitoring tools and dashboards.
Provisioning & Activation Support
- Support provisioning workflows across systems including DVS backend and DMD platforms.
- Coordinate activation activities through Vision and Pass DB systems.
- Work with operations and fulfillment teams to ensure successful device shipment and service activation.
- Utilize workflow management tools such as Pega to support order reflow and issue resolution processes.
Automation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring processes, dashboards, and operational reports.
- Build reporting and analytics solutions using Tableau, Looker, Pega, or similar tools.
- Create scripts and automation solutions to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze operational trends and recurring incidents to drive process improvements.
Issue Triaging & Incident Management
- Perform L1/L2 triaging for failed, delayed, or stalled orders.
- Identify impacted systems and isolate workflow or application-level issues.
- Coordinate with development, platform, infrastructure, and support teams for issue remediation.
- Support root cause analysis, escalation management, and operational incident tracking.
Performance Optimization & Reliability
- Monitor application and workflow performance to identify system bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
- Support system reliability initiatives including backup, redundancy, and operational stability strategies.
- Contribute to enhancement and optimization of operational support systems and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Production Support, Monitoring, or Operational Support environments.
- Strong experience supporting customer-facing B2B order management and delivery systems.
- Deep expertise in enterprise order management, provisioning, and workflow lifecycle processes.
- Hands-on experience with CXP systems including CJCM, DBS, DMD, OM, or similar order workflow platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle backend systems and enterprise operational environments.
- Experience with provisioning and activation workflows across enterprise platforms.
- Proficiency with monitoring and reporting tools including Tableau, Looker, and Pega.
- Experience building automated dashboards, operational alerts, and monitoring solutions.
- Strong scripting and automation experience for operational efficiency improvements.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in issue triaging and root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting high-volume production systems and SLA-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting telecom, enterprise hardware, or customer delivery operations.
- Familiarity with inventory validation, compliance checks, and provisioning orchestration workflows.
- Exposure to ITIL-based production support environments.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale operational ecosystems.
