Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | 100% Onsite
Duration: 24-Month Contract
Compensation: $47-$52/hr W2 + Benefits & PTO

Position Overview
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the integration, testing, and validation of advanced machine technologies. This role is focused on machine-based data collection, system integration, troubleshooting, and validation in both laboratory and field environments.
The engineer will work directly on machines, install and configure systems, collect and analyze data, execute testing activities, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability. This is a hands-on engineering role with exposure to proving grounds, customer sites, and advanced automation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support machine-based data collection systems and connectivity solutions
- Install, configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot cameras, radar, LiDAR, GPS, and data acquisition hardware
- Collect, process, validate, and analyze machine data
- Execute system integration, verification, and validation testing activities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and machine integration issues
- Perform testing at proving grounds and customer locations
- Develop technical documentation, validation plans, test procedures, and engineering reports
- Collaborate with systems, controls, software, validation, and product support teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing, data quality, and system performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2-5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience with Linux or closely related operating systems
- Experience with CAN tools or closely related communication and networking tools
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to independently plan and execute testing activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Systems testing or machine validation experience
- Machine operation or hands-on equipment experience
- Robotics or autonomous systems experience
- Mining, construction, agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment experience
- Python scripting
- Test automation experience
- Camera, radar, or LiDAR calibration and validation experience
- Product support or customer-facing experience
