Job Overview:
Pay Range: $62.43hr - $65.9hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Proven track record of working in a Data Center on complex systems.
- Knowledge in JIRA, scripting, and Debug methodologies (BMC, BIOS, GPU).
- Linux skills with the ability to run automated scripts, analyze logs, and provide updates.
- Experience working and communicating with OEM partners and vendors.
- Self-driven expertise in debugging problems and root causing issues.
- Ability to quickly understand and apply specific details to tickets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive issues to resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Work complex issues and problems as they arise in the lab or Data Center.
- Monitor a ticketing system to check, debug, and root cause software and hardware problems.
- Monitor the lab and data center for issues such as power outages, network outages, and liquid cooling leaks.
- Physically install and replace hardware.
- Debug firmware and operating system issues, especially those related to GPUs.
- Work issues through a JIRA ticket.
- Debug platforms and systems while ensuring priority items receive attention.
- Communicate clearly in tickets to explain the current state of issues or systems.
- Take direction from leaders based on priority needs of the business.
- Work with partners, vendors, ODMs, and OEMs on issues and ensure clear communication.
- Drive continuous improvement within the organization.
Nice to Have:
- System level debug methodologies.
- Proficiency with all standard hardware lab equipment including dediprog and scopes.
