    Systems Architect

    Summary

    Our client is seeking a Systems Architect to work with business and technical stakeholders, translating business processes into technical requirements and standardized architecture documentation. This role combines senior business/systems analysis, technical documentation, associate-level software architecture, and team leadership, including crafting solutions, presenting to stakeholders at all levels, and mentoring junior team members.

    Responsibilities

    • Craft high-level system requirements and technical solution paths from analysis; present to stakeholders and executives.
    • Partner with business/technical SMEs to document current and future system states and processes.
    • Create and maintain systems documentation, diagrams, workflows, and training guides.
    • Lead teams through planning, execution, and delivery; set goals and hold team members accountable.
    • Serve as SME/Mentor, reviewing others' work and providing technical guidance.
    • Perform Tier 3 root-cause analysis on escalated, undocumented defects and drive resolution.

    Requirements

    • Experience as a Systems Architect, Software Architect, or Systems Security Analyst.
    • Experience leading cross-departmental teams on business process analysis and requirements gathering.
    • Experience with SQL, React.js, or equivalent language(s).
    • Strong grasp of technical architecture principles and SDLC.
    • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
    • QA/software analysis experience, including UAT coordination.

    This is a 6-Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with our Overland Park, KS client.
