What You'll Do
The Systems & Reporting Manager will report directly to the Chief Development Officer and is responsible for maintaining the donor current operating systems, the CRM or database system, department reports and assisting with department stewardship efforts. Managing confidential materials and information will be imperative to this role.
The person who fills this role will be energized by detail-oriented work, managing and implementing systems for data collection and reporting, and working on a team focused on contributed revenue growth. Attention to detail, multi-tasking, adaptability, commitment to quality, and problem-solving are essential while working with the development team to ensure that data integrity is prioritized to create a positive impression on donors in a timely and efficient manner. This role may require direct contact with Board members and donors
Systems and Database Management
Oversees the integrity of donor data in the donor database and implements regularly scheduled data hygiene updates.
Assists with CRM functions including managing portfolio functions, automations and training other staff on database functionality
Manages the processing of incoming contributions and implements timely gift acknowledgements while working with the Director of Finance and/or the Staff Accountant to compile weekly deposits and records of support, reconcile development records with accounting records monthly, and assembling any needs for annual audit.
Oversees pledge process including tracking and sending donor pledge reminders and end-of-year pledge collections.
Prepares and oversees year-end tax receipts.
Identifies and resolves database issues or develops alternative solutions by working with CRM support and stays current with updates to the system.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of automated workflows within the CRM.
Reporting Management
Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer produces timely reports that convey department health and drive team member activity.
Works alongside CRM support to produce priority metrics
Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Development Officer

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office products
Adherence to OSHA and confidentiality requirements
