  • Pay Rate: $74.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

As part of the Global Product Integration & Connectivity team, this position will provide product testing and release for a variety of products and delivery methods. The position focuses on the testing & release of LSEG Products and services via the network delivery offerings in a client environment and will be required to liaise with development, quality assurance, distribution management, product management and Client Technical Implementation groups to ensure a seamless deployment of new software releases and hardware platforms. This position also requires in-depth technical knowledge as the successful candidate will be on the critical path for pre-sales, early access program (EAP), beta and ready for revenue generation (RRG) release.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal or external partners to collaborate on the items above and drive for result
  • Responsible for LSEG product test and release work over a variety of networks
  • Responsible for End-to-End qualification from LSEG Data Center distribution to Desktop
  • Maintain a high level of technical and product expertise through training classes, self-study and performing product release functions
  • Prevent technical deployment issues from occurring at customer site production environments through the establishment of conformity against customer site deployment requirements
  • Review documentation supplied by development for inclusion into global product manuals; where installation documentation has not been supplied, provide installation details and/or create installation manuals as required to successfully install and support the product
  • Contribute to authoring of Technical Operations Notice (TON) and Note for the Record (NFR) to inform internal stakeholders that the deployment of LSEG products has been approved
  • Responsible for maintaining up to date lab infrastructure that emulates clients' environments

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years in quality assurance manual or automation
  • Knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows server, Linux, Red Hat and Cent OS etc.
  • Knowledge of local area and wide area networking technologies including Ethernet, Routers, Bridges, Ethernet Switches, Firewalls, Routing
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS and multicast)
  • Shell programming and extensive knowledge of UNIX tools and utilities (i.e. vi, vim, sed, awk, grep, Perl etc.)
  • Knowledge of Python coding skills
  • Experience on unit test tools, user interface test tools and test management tools such as TestRail
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (Java, SQL)

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or any related fields
