The Systems Administrator oversees the support, administration, maintenance, security, documentation, and user training associated with the company IT infrastructure and related business systems. The role provides hands-on support to office, manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, and cloud environments
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, onboarding, offboarding, and access.
- Maintain and troubleshoot networks, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and wireless systems.
- Monitor systems, backups, security, and recovery processes.
- Perform system updates, patching, upgrades, and provides hands-on technical and Help Desk support for computers, printers, mobile devices, scanners, barcode equipment, and applications.
- Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT hardware and equipment.
- Configure, deploy, and support company-owned Android and iOS devices.
- Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to employees and management, prioritize multiple requests, and take ownership through resolution.
- Provide practical user training and maintain clear support documentation.
- Provide administration and user support for the Infor M3 ERP system in coordination with central IT, application owners, and external service providers.
- Support the company laboratory applications, including GRS-Signum and Genesis, where used at the US location.
- Support the scanner application and related barcode-based production, warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes.
- Provide technical administration and support for the company webshop and related integrations.
- Support local file servers and other site-specific applications and infrastructure.
- Support ERP/business applications and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Assist with cybersecurity, endpoint protection, access reviews, and security awareness.
- Maintain IT inventory, licenses, documentation, and equipment records.
- Lead or assist with IT infrastructure projects and technology improvements.
- Work closely with the central IT department in Germany to implement group-wide standards, resolve incidents, coordinate system changes, and support shared international systems.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure experience.
- Strong Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 experience.
- Working knowledge of Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and networking.
- Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Infor M3, Genesis, Manufacturing, warehouse, ERP, barcode scanner, or label printer experience preferred.
- Experience with firewalls, VLANs, Group Policy, Intune, virtualization, or PowerShell preferred.
- CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Experience supporting approved AI solutions or introducing AI-enabled tools in a business environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Work in both office and manufacturing/warehouse environments.
- Regularly walk throughout the facility and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions when installing or troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely use ladders or step stools as needed.
- Follow all Company safety, GMP, PPE, and facility requirements.
