    Job Description

    The System Administrator III is responsible for the long-term and the day-to-day management of enterprise systems, operating systems, and applications as assigned. This position is expected to utilize training, experience, and/or fundamental knowledge to supervise or perform complex tasks with limited supervision. The System Administrator III works with the IT Team and/or other technology teams to plan and implement new system deployments, new software installs, server upgrades, SaaS, cloud solutions, end user system updates, create or evaluate technical documents, and assist with resolving technical issues as assigned. Additionally, the System Administrator III must be knowledgeable in a variety of the fields fundamental concepts (backup and recovery, system configuration monitoring, data file maintenance, PowerShell scripting, virtualization, etc.).

    Qualifications

    • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
    • MSCE or equivalent knowledge required
    • Expert knowledge of current Windows Operating systems
    • Strong understanding of on-prem Active Directory/Group Policy and Entra ID (cloud).
    • Strong knowledge of PowerShell and scripting in a Windows environment
    • Experience supporting SCCM (co-managed w/ Intune), SCOM, EMS, SaaS, VMware, Azure, Intune, and SharePoint. Additionally, experience with IIS, Windows clustering,
    • Hyper-V, and/or MS-SQL is a plus
    • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
    • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, cloud solutions, and disaster recovery protocols
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective organization and planning skills
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship
