Position: Systems Administrator II
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
Salary: Starting at $150K

Job Description:
As a Systems Administrator II, you will support mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and security.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security updates.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Perform backups, data recovery, and system patching.
Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and enhancements.
Implement and enforce security best practices in compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) standards.

Required Qualifications:
Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Education: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Knowledge of networking protocols and security principles.
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or RHCSA are a plus.
