Job Summary: IPG Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our expanding IT team and work in a growing, dynamic, high-tech manufacturing company. As a System Administrator, you will help develop, maintain, and secure our global infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, driven, and diligent worker who can analyze the environment both as a whole and in detail to provide necessary business systems and services to the organization that meet business objectives and SLAs.
Job Function:
• Hands-on administrating infrastructure services, including but not limited to: • Microsoft Active Directory • Citrix Deployment & Management • Microsoft Exchange • Nutanix • VMware • Veeam Backup • SolarWinds • MDM applications
• Strong design, implementation, and management experience with Microsoft 365 Stack, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD.
• Knowledge and experience with deployment and management of identity and access management, Single Sign-on, and Microsoft MFA.
• Experience migrating M365 environment between different tenants and Gsuite to M365.
• Administering AWS, including license management, platform deployment, and connectivity.
• Assisting with maintaining and administering tenants security and spam filter systems.
• Monitoring and analyzing infrastructure systems and business applications for advanced notification of potential issues and identifying and recommending proactive resolutions.
• Ensuring infrastructure systems and applications are compliant to meet the highest levels of security and data integrity.
• Coordinating with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Following assigned project tasks and committing to timelines.
• Providing weekly status updates on all assigned projects and tasks.
• Recognizing roadblocks and working to resolve them before they impact schedules.
• Creating and maintaining system configuration and troubleshooting documentation as needed.
• Reviewing all policies and procedures and ensuring they are being adhered to.
• Proactively troubleshooting and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks and identifying areas for continual improvement.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd-level IT support and participating in the scheduled on-call rotation.
• Leading vulnerable mitigation and scheduled system patching cycles.
• Actively claiming triage and resolving IT tickets and contributing to the teams overall SLA matrixes.
• Configuring, installing, hardware upgrading, and reviewing infrastructure systems to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Participating in outage and incident bridge calls as needed.
