Systems Engineer

We're seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Linux expertise and experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP). The ideal candidate can operate in a cloud-agnostic environment and has hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and automation using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages. Two days are required onsite in downtown NYC each week.

Responsibilities include administering and supporting cloud and on-prem infrastructure, installing upgrades, patches, and security updates, monitoring system performance, availability, and health, performing backups, disaster recovery, and recovery testing, troubleshooting infrastructure, OS, and application issues, supporting Linux environments and core infrastructure services, developing automation, scripting, and infrastructure management solutions, maintaining system documentation, procedures, and runbooks, partnering with engineering teams to enhance reliability, scalability, and security, and participating in on-call support and incident response as needed.
