CEN, through The University of Connecticut (UConn) Information Technology Services (ITS), has an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to provide support for CENs systems, server, and network infrastructure. Support includes a blend of Windows and Linux on-premises and cloud-hosted servers and services, as well as the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of network systems that support CENs statewide service provider network and member-facing services. Incumbents are responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and security of physical and virtual infrastructure, applications, and network services. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and resolving systems and network issues, supporting network management platforms, and ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of critical services used by internal staff and external member-customers.
The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in support of IT systems, infrastructure, security, network, and automation.

This is a full-time, end-dated position with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding. The University offers a competitive salary, and outstanding benefits, including employee and dependent tuition waivers at UConn, and a highly desirable work environment.
