Job title: System Test Engineer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Experience in designing, developing, and validating Requirement Based Testing, System Integration Testing, Functional Testing, End to End Validation and Fault Injection Testing.
- Experience of Automotive communication using CAN, J1939, OBD and UDS protocols
- Experience in Test Automation using CAPL Scripting, NI TestStand, Python and Automation Framework development
- Experience in coordination and collaborate with cross-functional teams, like system integration team, and software team.
- Expertise in tools like Vector CANoe/CANape, HIL, RV&S, Gitlab and OEM calibration tools
- Experience in MIL/SIL testing
- AUTOSAR application development would be an added advantage
- Require Battery Management System Domain knowledge
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze System Requirements, Functional Requirements, Safety Requirements, and Customer Specifications
- Review Client architecture, interface specifications, and diagnostic requirements.
- Identify testable requirements and define verification strategies.
- Create System Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Procedures, and Test Schedules.
- Develop system-level test cases for Client functionalities
- Configure and maintain test benches and HIL environments
- Configure communication networks such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet
- Establish requirement traceability between requirements and test cases
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ALM, or RV&S
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineers to resolve issues
- Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using dSPACE, NI teststand, or equivalent platforms
- Perform fault injection and safety mechanism validation
- Deliver as per defined Change Request and Configuration Management process and adhere to ASPICE standards
