Job Title: System Level Test Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced System Level Test Engineer with strong expertise in system-level diagnostics, verification, post-silicon validation, semiconductor testing, Python, and test automation. The role focuses on testing and validating complex SoC/ASIC products, including characterization, quality assurance, yield enhancement, and specification validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and improve testing methodologies for complex SoC products

Perform system-level diagnostics, verification, and post-silicon validation

Support silicon characterization, QA, test, yield enhancement, and specification validation

Develop and maintain test automation using Python and shell scripting

Analyze test results and troubleshoot complex silicon and hardware issues

Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventative actions

Collaborate with ASIC, ATE, DFT, silicon validation, fab process, software, and quality teams

Support identification, debugging, and resolution of silicon issues

Drive process improvements across testing workflows, methodologies, and products

Work cross-functionally to improve product quality, test coverage, and overall test efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of relevant product engineering or hardware systems experience

Strong experience in semiconductor product testing, system validation, or hardware verification

Hands-on experience with SoC/ASIC validation, ATE, DFT, or post-silicon validation

Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and shell scripting

Experience with test automation and system-level diagnostics

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams

Experience with PC architecture, hardware assembly, PCIe bus, and DRAM/DDR is a plus
