Summary: The Systems Integration Engineer is an information technology professional who provides programming and technical development of integrated solutions and delivers high-quality interoperability solutions that support Cook Childrens current and future clinical and business operations by developing, innovating, testing, maintaining, installing and debugging integration/interface solutions, middleware tools, and related technologies. He/she/they are responsible for integration among Epic Bridges, an interface engine (Corepoint), automated managed file transfer (GoAnywhere MFT) software, and other tools as needed. Interfaces include but are not limited to: laboratory, radiology, immunization registry, billing, pharmacy, dental, HIEs, and our Health Plan. This role requires strong technical ability.

Education & Experience A BA/BS degree is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Care environment preferred. Minimum 5 years' experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and debugging interface build using Corepoint interface engine (preferred) or alternate interface engine. At least 5 years' experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and debugging Epic Bridges interfaces Expert knowledge in two or more integration/interoperability areas, such as HL7, XML, X12, FTP, TCP/IP, API, web calls, managed file transfer, Epic CareEverywhere, Epic Interconnect, MS SQL.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Epic certification(s) required within 6 months from date of hire, allowing for two test retakes. Other industry relevant certification(s) a plus.
