ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Engineer(CI/CD) to join our team. Position is desired to be within the commuting distance of JBSA San Antonio, remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Architect, build, and maintain robust, automated deployment pipelines, release workflows, and product modules across complex, multi-environment architectures.
  • Leverage DevOps technologies to automate deployment solutions and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within the Oracle Cloud Environment (OCI).
  • Define automation architecture requirements and establish organizational standards for CI/CD pipeline design, security controls (DevSecOps), and release strategies.
  • Lead research and development projects, mentor technical staff, and ensure all system designs conform to strict quality, performance, and security specifications.
  • Partner with program management to evaluate the technical feasibility, scalability, and long-term viability of continuous delivery plans.
  • Analyze existing products, processes, and delivery channels to recommend high-impact enhancements that improve system reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Interpret business requirements into actionable technical strategies, anticipating potential objections to influence stakeholders toward modern DevOps best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering OR a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Proven, strong experience with Jenkins for pipeline creation and administration.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience designing and managing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expert-level experience with Git version control and shell/automation scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience working within the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), or government defense contracting environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise deployment automation and CI/CD tools such as FlexDeploy.
  • Formal Jenkins certification (e.g., CloudBees Certified Jenkins Engineer or equivalent CI/CD accreditation).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance suitability

The projected compensation range for this position is $137,100.00-$244,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
