IT Infrastructure Delivery Leader Patch Management leads the organizations efforts to ensure that all IT Sever infrastructure and Databases are updated with the latest security patches operating system updates and vendor provided thirdparty software fixes

Impact

This role is responsible to execute enterprise patch management strategy and compliance reporting to reduce vulnerabilities and protect against cybersecurity threats This role involves leading a team of patch engineers managing patch deployment schedules and collaborating with various stakeholders to minimize business disruption during patch and post patch deployment

Key Deliverables Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership Mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for patch management execution including training and development

Patch Deployment Management Oversee the testing validation and deployment of patches across the organizations systems and applications

Vulnerability Remediation Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities using enterprise patch management tools and automation Prioritize patch deployments based on criticality and potential impact

Compliance and Reporting Monitor and report on patch compliance status ensuring adherence to regulatory and risk team standards Manage executivelevel reporting and dashboards regarding patch management metrics KPIs etc

Stakeholder Collaboration Coordinate with various stakeholders including IT teams security teams and application owners to ensure smooth and effective patch deployment

Change Management Work within established change management processes to ensure all patch deployments are properly documented and approved

Incident Response Support incident response efforts related to vulnerabilities or issues arising post patching activities

Continuous Improvement Regularly analyze patch management gaps and propose continuous improvement plans

Staying Current Keep abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities industry best practices and new technologies related to patch management

Team Mentoring and Development Conduct surveys feedback sessions and discussions with employees to understand their specific training needs and manage associate developments to help employees achieve them

Skills and Qualification Functional and Technical Skills

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field

12 years of IT operations security or infrastructure experience including 8 years in a leadership role

Deep understanding of operating systems Windows Unix servers networking concepts Database technologies and enterprise software management

Strong knowledge of Patch management vulnerability remediation

Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management

Deep understanding of patch management and IT automation tools eg WSUS BigFix Ansible etc

Well versed in documentation knowledge SOPs etc and metrics reporting

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Relationships Collaboration

Ensure great Partnership with IT counterparts India as well as US associates

Be available for team connects as needed

Flexible to adjust work scheduled including evening weekend as per Org need

Collaborate with Business wherever necessary

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
