We are seeking an experienced
System Engineer (Aerospace/Avionics) with a strong background in aerospace and avionics systems development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace certification standards including
ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-160 , and will be responsible for system-level requirements, design, development, integration, verification, and certification support for airborne electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage system requirements, architecture, and design for avionics/aerospace products.
- Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, traceability, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, test, and certification teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support compliance activities related to ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 standards.
- Define and execute system integration, verification, and validation plans.
- Conduct system-level testing and support qualification/certification efforts.
- Prepare and review engineering documentation, including requirements specifications, interface control documents, verification procedures, and certification artifacts.
- Perform technical risk assessments and support issue resolution during development and testing phases.
- Work closely with customers, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical systems engineering.
- Strong experience with:
- ARP4754A (System Development Process)
- DO-178C (Airborne Software Certification)
- DO-254 (Airborne Electronic Hardware Certification)
- DO-160 (Environmental Testing and Qualification)
- Experience in requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with system engineering lifecycle, V-model development process, and certification methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
