What We're Looking For
As a System Engineer Level 1 at CyberPoint, you will apply systems engineering principles across the full system lifecycle. From concept and development through production, utilization, support and retirement. You will support mission-critical program by ensuring technical integrity, quality and completeness of engineering efforts aligned with established standards.
This role requires collaboration with government stakeholders, program personnel and senior leaders to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful delivery of system capabilities. You will contribute to one or more process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288, supporting both technical execution and program-level outcomes.

This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.
What You'll Do
Apply systems engineering processes across lifecycle phases including Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support and Retirement
Support one or more ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including:
Technical: Requirements definition, architecture, integration, verification, validation and maintenance
Project: Planning, risk management, configuration management and decision analysis
Enterprise: Infrastructure, lifecycle model and quality management
Agreement: Acquisition and supply
Interface with government stakeholders to address technical considerations, issues and risks
Contribute to the technical integrity and quality of deliverables across assigned efforts
Develop and document test plans, procedures and technical recommendations
Conduct RF-related analysis and testing, including EMI and unintended emissions across HF, VHF and UHF spectrums
Utilize RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and oscilloscopes
Support system performance analysis to ensure compliance with E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects) requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support mission and program objectives
Travel up to 3 times per year for 7-10 days per trip
Qualifications
What You'll Need
U.S. Citizenship
Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline and one (1) year of systems engineering experience
OR twelve (12) credit hours of coursework in one or more ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas in place of experience
OR High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of general systems engineering experience
Experience with Python and/or Visual Basic for application development
Strong foundation in RF theory with hands-on experience in EMI testing and unintended emissions
Familiarity with RF tools and components (eg spectrum analyzers, signal generators, amplifiers, filters)
Experience developing test plans and technical documentation
Ability to analyze system performance and validate against technical requirements
