About Arycs Technologies
At Arycs Technology, we believe AI infrastructure must scale within realistic power and integration limits. Our systems are engineered for deployment in real networks — not theoretical environments. We prioritize architectural efficiency over hardware multiplication, enabling capacity growth through technology innovation rather than system complexity. Performance and energy efficiency are not trade-offs; they are co-designed outcomes.
Headquartered in Los Gatos, California, with operations in Cleveland, Ohio and Maynard, Massachusetts, Arycs Technologies operates at the intersection of silicon photonics, coherent DSP, and scalable semiconductor manufacturing.
Our geographic presence supports both technology innovation and commercial execution, positioning Arycs Technologies as a key contributor to the advancement and broader adoption of coherent optical technologies.
About the role
As the System Engineer of Coherent Optical DSP and Transceivers, you will join a small team and play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, and validation of optical transceivers for use in datacom and telecom
networks.
Arycs Technologies is looking for a subject matter expert who will work closely with cross-functional
teams, including the digital signal processing (DSP) ASIC and optical transceiver design teams to ensure that the product meets the industry standards and our customers’ requirements.
The focus will be on innovating and improving the DSP algorithms to optimize the performance and lower power consumption of the coherent optical DSP ASICs and the optical transceivers.
Job Overview:
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Physics or related field.
• MS with 5+ years or PhD with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. • Experience modeling and simulation of end-to- end digital communication systems using MATLAB,
Simulink, Python, or C/C++. • Experience in optical communication components and system modeling and simulation is a plus. • Demonstrated experience working with high speed optical, RF, and optoelectronic components-lasers,
and PICs is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel for collaborative meetings with optical transceiver design team members (~5-10%).
