    Description

    ·       Estimated Start Date: 1 Nov



    Objective: Support the Clients system through ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable operations across NIPR and SIPR environments, maintaining high availability, compliance, and operational resilience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage operating system patching, infrastructure upgrades, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists.
    • Maintain and update system architecture documentation, including hardware lists, topology diagrams, and database design documents.
    • Implement and maintain robust security baselines (NIST, CNSS, DISA STIG, USTRANSCOM) across all environments.
    • Ensure compliance and requirements for data protection and privacy.
    • Configure and maintain security logging, structured auditing, distributed tracing, and runtime telemetry.
    • Leverage management tools (Jira, Confluence) for structured engineering change control, backlog refinement, and workflow alignment.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience supporting federal or DoD systems, including secure operations.
    • Proficiency cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
    • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
    • Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response tools and practices.
    • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work onsite/ client site delivery

    Requirements

    Clearance - Secret Clearance

    Mid Foundational with one of the following:

    ·        Cloud+

    ·        GICSP

    ·        GSEC

    ·        Security+

    ·        SSCP

     


    Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree program.

    Minimum experience : 1-4 years.
