The J-Tech II contract is one of Arcata's longest standing partnerships. J-Tech II provides engineering and technical services to support research, development, test and evaluation, training missions, and related support activities for the 412th Test Wing Edwards, Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), Utah Test and Training Range, and China Lake Ranges. We provide expert technical knowledge of flight and ground test and training systems, equipment and facilities to support pre-mission, mission and post-mission requirements in areas including Telemetry Systems, Telecommunication Systems, Signal Collect/Monitoring Analysis, Threat Systems, Computer Systems, Instrumentation Systems, Mission Control/Coordination, Data Analysis/Reports, Time-Space Position Information (TSPI)/Scoring Systems, Test/Training Management, and Sustainment Engineering.Summary:The System Administrator (SA) performs operational support and on-going maintenance of systems required to meet contract objectives. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Project demands may require travel to NTTR locations by Government vehicle. Possible exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions for prolonged periods, travel over rough roads, and work on uneven surfaces in an outdoor environment. The noise level on the NTTR varies from quiet to moderately noisy. Must comply with all safety and security requirements and procedures.
