Job Title: System Administrator
Position Summary: This mid-level position is responsible for supporting the Systems Operations Manager in maintaining data center operations including server hardware, software and patches
Essential Job Functions
- Three years experience administering Windows servers in an Active Directory environment
- Group policy creation and administration.
- Administration of Linux systems (Debian, CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu)
- System imaging using SCCM
- Administration, monitoring, and testing data backup (Veeam)
- Documentation of systems, processes, policies
- Enterprise Antivirus administration (Crowdstrike)
- Microsoft Exchange administration
- Microsoft IIS administration
- General TCP/IP networking, including VPN
- DHCP, DNS, NTP administration
- Administration of virtual environment, consisting of VMware, Proxmox, and OLVM
- Administration of storage area network (SAN) and network attached storage (NAS), consisting of storage arrays from Pure Storage, Synology, TrueNAS
- Disaster recovery process, policies
- Microsoft patch management
- Active Directory user, computer and security group administration
- Systems, file & folder security management
- MFA administration (Duo)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience
- This position requires a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, and 3+ years applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MCP, MCSE, A+ certifications preferred
- Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate abilities during interview process.
In addition to the skills required to perform the essential job functions, the following are preferred skills:

Physical Demands

Must concentrate mental and visual attention closely on work, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods.
