As a System Administrator at Sandia Area, you are responsible for delivering excellent service while maintaining personal accountability in your actions and behaviors. Reporting directly to the Lead System Administrator, the System Administrator I is responsible for designing, building, and implementing virtual and physical server infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all systems to dynamically address the needs of a growing enterprise. Further, the system administrator must stay apprised of updates available for systems and deploying them within policy guidelines.

Willing to undergo background and credit checks as required by federal and state regulations.
Understand and comply with all policies, procedures, and legal guidelines, including adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and other applicable financial regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Basic working knowledge in virtualization systems and ability to optimize them as required, including virtual and physical server and network infrastructure with a requisite understanding of financial institution operations.
Ability to work with cloud-based applications such as Office 365, Azure, and Asana.
Ability to write, maintain, and organize documentation for IT systems and related issues.
Ability to communicate highly technical information into user-friendly terms to both users, managers, vendors, and other support staff.
Must be willing and able to drive between worksites and must maintain a valid Driver's License.
Some ability to work independently, demonstrating attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Ability to perform essential functions, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Associate's degree in related field.
Other equivalent certification may be considered.
One (1) year of applicable experience required.
Systems administration and information systems operations experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting Microsoft software required.
CompTIA Server+, and/or CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
Microsoft 365 Certification preferred.
Credit Union and/or financial institution experience is preferred.
