PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for monitoring and reporting incidents occurring at different locations and for assigning officers for investigations. Incumbents also monitor the security of the central office.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Incumbents will be considered "at will." This position is considered to be "Essential Personnel, Critical Staff" when there is an event that creates security challenges or disruptions to district operations. This position may be required to work during identified periods of an emergency as defined in Policy Regulation GBRB-R, Title: Professional Personnel Time Schedules. Appropriate pay will be determined based on Grade 104 and allowable experience as determined by Human Resources. The work calendar will be 250 days. This position is Non-Exempt and eligible for the Teachers Retirement System.
Phase 1 Communications Certification Training, 911 and Administrative Call Taking, GCIC, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Fire and Police Certifications, NIMS 100 and 700. The employee receives 3 steps
Phase 2 Communications Radio Operations Training, Basic Communications
Officer Certification and Primary Channel training. The employee will also be required to successfully operate and dispatch from Police, Fire and EMS radio channels. The employee will receive an additional 5 steps.
